Welcome to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health, Housing, and Local Government Sarawak and a Happy New Year 2026.
This digital platform and website are our gateways to connect with you to share the Ministry’s activities, priorities and reference documents as well as our ongoing efforts in serving you, the people of Sarawak.
This coming five years will be pivotal in determining Sarawak’s success in achieving the aspirations underlined in the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030. Our Ministry’s direction is aligned with the 10 High-Level Strategies of the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP), particularly the focus on building a high-quality living environment and an inclusive society for all communities, which strongly resonates with our Ministry’s vision. With the introduction of new sectors such as waste and circularity, and business services sectors in the 13MP, our roles in driving Sarawak’s development agenda has become even more relevant.
We continue to plan, innovate and implement our programmes, guided by the 3Rs principle of Revisit, Rethink and Recharge and work together as a team to ensure our approaches remain relevant, effective and responsive to evolving needs. Collaborations with our agencies and partners will be further strengthened to ensure services remain future-ready and impactful, as we look ahead to meeting new challenges.
In continuing service excellence, our Ministry and its agencies will strengthen effectiveness and accountability by aligning with the Result-Based Budgeting (RBB) framework, ensuring that public resources are utilised and that initiatives translate into meaningful outcomes for communities across Sarawak. In this regard, continual process improvement and digitalisation remain central to our approach in delivering efficient, reliable and people-centred public services.
